Das neue Hochleistungsrechencluster „Q-Compute“ wurde am Montag am Institut für Angewandte Zukunftsforschung (IAZ) offiziell in Betrieb genommen. Es bietet deutlich erhöhte Rechenleistung für Projekte im Bereich Klimamodellierung, Neurowissenschaften und Materialforschung.
Das ZTS-Institut für Energiesysteme erhält 4,2 Mio. Euro Fördermittel im Rahmen von „Horizon Europe“ für das Projekt H2SmartGrid. Ziel ist die Integration von grünem Wasserstoff in bestehende Stromnetze.
